The Restaurant

The restaurant itself is called 'Tasty Land Restaurant', situated in Mantin, which is a small suburb about 15 minutes away from Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. (For more info about the location, please click on 'Location' on the left / google map link here .

The home-made Kaka prawn mee business was first set up in central seremban 2 years ago in year 2008, but was later moved to the suburb Mantin because of the proximity to the owner's house. The reason being that it is more convenient to keep the ingredients nice and fresh when they have to get up early in the morning at 3am to get them ready for customers. Besides prawn mee being the main food advertised, there is also home-cooked chicken rice. :-)

My uncle Yoong has learnt the unique procedures of making the Kaka Penang prawn mee. He confidently claims that throughout Seremban only at his restaurant that one can get to taste the unique Kaka prawn noodles. It might have some resemblance to the Penang prawn mee in Penang, Malaysia. Or it might give you a slightly different spin rather than the fully traditional Penang style! I encourage you to try it yourself.
